The pay rules you can confirm.

• Base rate for straight time.
• Daily overtime tiers, for example 1.5× after 8 hours and 2× after 12.
• Weekly overtime review for a complete workweek over 40 hours, showing the regular rate it used.
• Outside-schedule premium for work before your start time or after quitting time.
• Sunday premium and holiday or specific-date premiums.
• Callout minimum, added as a separate top-up line labeled as paid hours, not time worked.
• Flat per diem per worked date, paid once a day however many shifts you log.

Rules vary by agreement, contractor and assignment. LinePaycheck doesn't read agreements or guess at rules you haven't confirmed. Learn the rules in the overtime, callout and per diem guides.

• Overnight work keeps its real start and end dates, and every record keeps its work time zone.
• Log callouts as their own entries, and add notes such as the storm, crew or ticket.
• Before you save, see how much the shift adds to expected wages.
• Edit, delete and undo, with checks that stop overlapping or duplicate shifts from inflating pay.

Expected gross pay is broken into lines such as "Overtime · 1.5× $150.00" with the formula underneath: "2 h × $50.00 × 1.5". Check the paycheck.

• Three ways in: scan the paystub with the camera, choose a photo or PDF, or type the gross in.
• On-device reading: text is recognized on your iPhone with Apple's Vision framework. Every figure is a suggestion until you confirm it.
• The right comparison: the app confirms the dates match, that you're using current rather than year-to-date figures, whether the gross includes per diem, and whether overtime is printed full-rate or premium-only.
• A plain answer: entered values match, possible shortfall, possible overpayment, needs review, or not comparable, with the amount and a line-by-line trace.

History, reports and your data.

• Close a pay period when the work is done; it waits for its paycheck while you keep logging the next one.
• Keep a history of past periods and their results.
• Share a comparison report, for example with payroll, choosing exactly what's included.
• Export your data, and back up and restore with a file you keep in iCloud Drive or Files.
• Delete everything from Settings at any time.

Private by design.

No LinePaycheck account, login or central pay database. Calculations and paystub reading run on your iPhone. Backups, Apple purchases, and reports you choose to share are separate data flows. Read the privacy policy.

What LinePaycheck doesn't do.

• It doesn't import or interpret union agreements, or offer a verified agreement library.
• It doesn't calculate taxes, deductions or net take-home pay.
• It doesn't decide what an employer legally owes; possible differences are for review.
• Some rules aren't modeled yet, such as rest time, travel time, show-up pay and partial-day subsistence. They're shown as not checked.
• There's no Android version yet.

What does LinePaycheck do?

LinePaycheck is an iPhone app for linemen and other lineworkers. You log the work you do, confirm the pay rules you work under, and the app calculates expected gross pay with a line-by-line ledger. On payday it compares your paystub with that expected pay and shows the math behind any difference.

Is LinePaycheck free?

Yes, LinePaycheck is free to download. The free version includes one pay profile, work logging, expected gross pay, the Pay Ledger and your first paycheck check. LinePaycheck Pro is an optional subscription for checking every paycheck, paystub scanning, history and shareable reports.

Does LinePaycheck know my union agreement?

No. You enter and confirm the rules that apply to you: your rate, overtime tiers, premiums, callout minimum and per diem. The app does not import or interpret agreements, and an unconfigured rule is listed as not checked rather than assumed.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no LinePaycheck account or login, and no LinePaycheck server holds your pay records. Your work log, rules and paystubs stay on your iPhone unless you export, back up or share them.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. LinePaycheck is available for iPhone on the App Store and requires iOS 18 or later.
